Ground Floor

The Kitchen

This is a well equipped  country  kitchen giving you plenty of opportunity to transform the wonderful fresh local produce into delicious meals. Plenty of space for dining inside.

Living/dining area

 The kitchen opens up into a dining area for 8 people and sitting room with satellite TV (many programmes in English), DVD player with home cinema .  

First Floor

This lovely room has a king-size bed in traditional Italian ironwork and a ceiling fan for comfort on hot summer nights. French windows lead on to a large balcony, with table and chairs overlooking the terrace, garden and pool.  Views stretch across the countryside to Mount Conero beyond. A walk-in wardrobe allows for  plenty of storage space. A fourth smaller bedroom with bunk-beds comes off this area and both bedrooms are served by an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Second Bedroom

A generous double bed room decorated with typical Marchigiana furniture, and a large furnished balcony overlooking the chapel. The spacious en-suite bathroom comprises a shower cubicle, WC, bidet and  basin.

Third bedroom

This bedroom can be made up as a double or twin for adults or children. Storage space in the hall outside leads on to another bathroom with bath/shower, WC and basin.

All bedrooms have central heating which can be independently controlled. All rooms in the house have heavy beams above the windows and handmade wooden shutters which close from the inside, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep!

Outside

The kitchen doors lead on to a shaded wooden deck, perfect for alfresco dining on balmy summer days and affording the best views from the property across to the medieval town of San Ginesio perched on the hill opposite. There’s nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine, listening to the crickets of an evening and watching the magical dance of the fireflies in early summer transforming the garden into an enchanted forest .The vibrant sunsets differ from evening to evening and you’ll never get bored of the magnificence of the colours as they spread across the mountains.

Beyond the garden, the inviting 12m x 5.5m swimming pool (depth 1.45m) is set among pretty flowering plants.             A BBQ is near the pool for enjoying those summer outdoor meals.

The land belonging to Casa Allegra covers 3.6 hectares including private woods, an organic vegetable and herb garden,  fruit trees in the small orchard, vines and olive trees.

There is ample parking space for 3-4 cars at the front of the house near the chapel which belongs to the house and used to serve the farming community in the past.

Gualdo Village

The lovely hilltop village of Gualdo is 1km and a picturesque walk away . All amenities can be found here including shops, bank, post office, doctor's surgery and schools.
