The
nearest airport is Ancona Falconara
which is served daily by Ryanair flying from Stansted.
It is strongly advised that you hire a car while you are here to make the most of your time. Ryanair offers deals with Hertz, although we find Auto-europe provide a better service. Other
options are available at the airport, with prior booking a must especially
during the summer.

Stansted - Pescara (2 hours)
Stansted - Forli (2 hrs 30 mins)
Glasgow - Rimini (2 hours)
East Midlands - Rimini
Any airport - Rome ( 3 hours)
Directions.
Once out
of the airport, follow the signs for the A14 autostrada in the direction of
Pescara. (Bologna is the wrong way). At the tolls, press the button for a ticket
and keep it until you exit. Carry on along the autostrada until the exit for
Civitanova Marche, where you pay the toll at a booth. The price is about 2,50
euro, choose a booth served by a person who will be able to give you change.
After
the tolls go round the roundabout, following the signs for the
Superstrada (blue
signs). Take the Superstrada in the direction of Macerata and
Tolentino. Driving
inland for about 15-20 mins, now exit at Macerata Ovest and turn right
in the
direction of Sarnano and Ascoli Piceno. You will drive through a series
of small
areas with the word “Passo” in their names. Continue until
Passo San Ginesio. Continue for several km- you will come to a car
sales company on the left called Auto Merelli.
Immediately after turn left and follow the signs for Gualdo, about 7km
up. When
you reach the top at the edge of the village, take an immediate left
turn. This
is our road, Cda. Bartolotti. We are number 16 about 1km downhill- you
will see
the chapel at the side of the road on your left.
